A special anti-corruption unit is to be set up in the office of the Minister of Public Service and Administration, Richard Baloyi. The unit will target corruption in the public service, in collaboration with trade unions and other government structures. This was one of a number of resolutions taken during the last day of a Public Service Summit held in Durban. The Summit also resolved that tender processes will have to be open to public scrutiny.
