The South African National Editors" Forum (Sanef) says the Supreme Court of Appeal"s (SCA) ruling in Mc Bride vs. the Citizen newspaper case, has the effect of changing fact into fiction. For this reason Sanef has decided to apply to be an "amicus curiae" (friend of the court) in the Citizen"s Constitutional Court challenge against the SCA ruling.. The ruling relates to a 2003 article in which the newspaper called former Ekurhul. . .
