South Africa: Trade conditions improve in February: Sacci

Trade conditions improved strongly in February, according to the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry"s (Sacci) Trade Activity Index which reflects current trade conditions. The index returned to positive territory last month by rising to 54 from 44 in January. The increase was supported by higher sales and new orders with the input price index, which is a sub-index of the Trade Activity Index, also increasing by 3 points to 61.
